Abstract The increasing number of functions in modern vehicle leads to an exponential increase software complexity. validity and reliability all components must be ensured, making the use appropriate diagnostics systems indispensable. purpose such is collect process data about vehicle. To find issues during development, OEMs will usually have a development fleet thousands vehicles. challenge for diagnostic detect these tests, as well collecting much possible circumstances that led fault. A single-vehicle produces hundreds gigabytes per month. required bandwidth cannot fulfilled by current mobile network subscriptions WIFI or cable-based infrastructure. This limits amount can collected field tests hinders big analysis like AI training validation. Hence solution reduction necessary. authors present method handling drastically reduces consumption optimizes transfer delay between remote-diagnostic cloud. Using pipeline preprocessing established compression algorithm, transmitted reduced factor nearly ten. allow more testing improve understanding development.
